Custom ERP modules and line-of-business apps

Your package does ninety percent of the job. The other ten percent is a spreadsheet, a whiteboard or a workaround. We build that part as a real module: a screen for the people who need it, on your SQL Server, writing back to the ERP you keep.

The ERP that fits a distributor or manufacturer at a hundred people rarely fits the way that particular business works. The missing piece is almost always operational: a floor screen, a count process, a returns flow, an approval that the package only half supports.

Twenty years of building these from off-the-shelf ERPs to fully custom ones taught us one rule: build the piece that is yours, keep the package for everything else, and make the boundary between them explicit.

What we build

The modules that come up most.

Pick, pack and ship

Scanner-driven picking with wave or order modes, pack verification, and labels from the carrier of record.

Returns and RMAs

Authorisation, receipt, disposition and credit in one flow that updates stock and accounting.

Cycle counts

Counts scheduled by velocity, recorded on a phone, variances approved before they post.

Label printing

Product, bin, pallet and compliance labels from live data, to the printer on the floor.

AR and AP workflow

Approvals, holds, disputes and statements that your accounting package only half does.

Owner dashboards

The ten numbers the owner looks at every morning, correct and on a phone.

How it runs

Design first, then build in slices you use.

Assess

2 weeks · $4,500

Which module, who uses it, and the data it owns versus the data the ERP owns.

Design

2 weeks

Screens drawn with the people who will use them, the data model, and the write-back rules. Fixed price follows.

Build in slices

6–16 weeks

Working software every two weeks, used on the floor as it lands, with hours you approve in the portal.

Hand over

end

Source code, documentation and training. Care plan if you want one.

Common questions

Before you book.

Why not just buy another module from the ERP vendor?

Sometimes you should, and the assessment will say so. Custom wins when the process is genuinely yours, when the vendor module costs more than building, or when it would force your floor to work the vendor's way.

Where does the code run?

On your servers, on ours, or in Azure. The same platform runs nineteen live applications for us today, so hosting it is not a new problem.

Who owns the code?

You do, in your source control, with documentation written for whoever comes after us.
